Well done to Peterborough Photographic Society who won the 2015-16 season's Four Way Battle, hosted by March Camera Club this year. Daphne Hanson judged 32 prints and 32 projected images on the night and the total scores were Peterborough 283, Deeping 277, Wisbech 272, March 258

EAF Interprint 2016 Results
March were joint eighth out of 30 clubs in this
competition. Trish Rudduck scored 20/20 and Richard Hull 19/20 which were
the club's highest scoring entries (out of eight for each club).
Four-Way Battle 2015 In the 4-way event at St Ives, March beat Ely, St Neots and the host club. Richard Hull completed a maximum points double when his printed image entitled 'Solitude' - taken on a trip to Suffolk's Pin Mill - gained top recognition for the second night running. Maximum points also went to Chris Ley for his DPI entitled "A Certain Tension" and to Mel Harris for his "Dusty Corner".
RESULT
Pat Goode Memorial Competition 2015 Richard Hull was awarded a maximum 10 points for his print Solitude, as March Camera Club finished third in the annual Pat Goode Memorial Shield, at Wisbech on Monday night. Deepings and hosts Wisbech were the only clubs from the 12 represented to finish higher on the night - the top three having finished joint winners the previous year.

The club's print workers took a bashing at the annual Pat Goode Memorial Shield on Monday 11th November 2013, when they finished bottom from the 12 club entry. Thankfully, before the break the four DPIs had placed us fifth equal - giving the club an overall position of joint seveth, one place lower than the previous year. Mel Harris was the highest March scorer in both prints and DPIs on a night when only one maximum 10 was awarded in each of the two categories. Judge for the night was David Gibbins ARPS AFIAP BPE3, with Peterborough the top club. "Mel Harris scored maximum 20 points with both his prints and they were the only maximums awarded during the judging of the prints, which enabled the club to clinch second place in both sections and overall - a marked improvement on last year. Albert Horton was one of three photographers to score 20 in the DPIs"

"After the first four March prints, we were 10 points adrift of the leaders, but came back strongly with the final four images to share the lead at the halfway stage. Both Chris Ley and Mel Harris scored maximum 20s with their images. March 144, Ely 144, St Ives 143, St Neots 143 That was as good as it got with March finishing last in the DPI section and last overall. Pat Ringham gained a 20 and an 18. St Ives 145, Ely 140, St Neots 137, March 135 The combined scores were: St Ives 288, Ely 284, St Neots 280, March 279."
